Baseball Game Preview: Loudonville Christian Eagles vs. Northville Falcons

For the second straight game, Loudonville Christian will face off against Northville. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Loudonville Christian was handed a six-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Northville 8-7.

For Northville's part, Joey Capobianco III was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Capobianco III has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kaidyn Tran made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Logan Diaz, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Northville is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8. As for Loudonville Christian, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4.
