Basketball Recap: Flandreau Indian Comes Up Short

Flandreau Indian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Omaha Nation Chiefs and fell 71-21. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 75-36 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.

Flandreau Indian's record now sits at 1-7. As for Omaha Nation, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Flandreau Indian will square off against Santee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Omaha Nation, they will be taking part in a tournament against Crazy Horse at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.
