It was a good run, but Shenandoah Valley Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. The contest between them and the Eastern Mennonite Flames didn't end well, with the Shenandoah Valley Academy Stars falling 80-66. The Stars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Flames apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Shenandoah Valley Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Eastern Mennonite, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12.

Shenandoah Valley Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wakefield School at 5:00 p.m. on February 11th. As for Eastern Mennonite, they will welcome New Covenant at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
