Volleyball Game Preview: Southwest EC Eagles vs. Central Spartans

The Southwest EC Eagles will face off against the Central Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Southwest EC came up short against Calexico on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

While Southwest EC ultimately came up short, they really made Calexico work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-6, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Central had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-14.

Southwest EC's loss dropped their record down to 12-20. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.
