Football Recap: Whitehall Beats Pocono Mountain East for Their Third Straight Victory

Whitehall entered their tilt with Pocono Mountain East on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 35-24 victory over the Cardinals. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Zephyrs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Cardinals are ranked 230th).

Whitehall's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Pocono Mountain East, they moved to 8-4 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coming up, Whitehall will take on Roman Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pocono Mountain East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
