Croswell-Lexington is 9-1 against Almont since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Croswell-Lexington Pioneers will head out to face off against the Almont Raiders at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Croswell-Lexington has three straight wins, Almont has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Croswell-Lexington beat Armada 59-48.

Meanwhile, Almont took a blow against Imlay City on Friday, falling 58-30. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 445th, while the Spartans are ranked 152nd).

Croswell-Lexington pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points over those games. As for Almont, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Croswell-Lexington came up short against Almont in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 67-62. Can Croswell-Lexington avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
