Mineola owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Ford Panthers 1-0. The one-run effort marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Mineola saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Roberts, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Mineola's win bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Ford, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-1-1.

Coming up, Mineola will face off against North Dallas at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ford, they will square off against De Kalb at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday.
