Basketball Recap: Inman Comes Up Short

Inman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 45-33 to the St. John Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Inman Teutons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Tigers are ranked 135th).

St. John found their leader in freshman Emmett Delp, who posted 19 points. Delp's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Brody Vieux was another key player, putting up ten points.

Inman's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for St. John, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Inman will take on Cimarron at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Cimarron has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for St. John, they will face off against LaCrosse on Tuesday. St. John is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.6 points per game this season.
