Softball Game Preview: Waccamaw Warriors vs. Georgetown Bulldogs

The Waccamaw Warriors will square off against the Georgetown Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Waccamaw came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Loris, falling 10-1. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Georgetown suffered their biggest defeat since March 7th on Friday. They lost 12-2 to Aynor. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Georgetown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Satcher Felts, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Waccamaw's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Georgetown, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
