Baseball Recap: Lewis County Minutemen vs. University Hawks

Lewis County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell just short of the University Hawks by a score of 6-5. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lewis County of the 9-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Drew Cayton and Trenton Hunt stepped up to the plate in a big way. Cayton scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Hunt scored a run while going 1-for-3.
