Basketball Game Preview: Sweetwater Red Devils vs. Morse Tigers

Sweetwater is 2-8 against Morse since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Sweetwater Red Devils will challenge the Morse Tigers at 3:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Sweetwater is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-44 heartbreaker at the hands of Pacific Ridge.

Meanwhile, Morse came up short against Clairemont on Friday and fell 59-51. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sweetwater's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Morse, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Sweetwater couldn't quite finish off Morse when the teams last played back in January of 2024 and fell 63-60. Can Sweetwater avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
