Soccer Game Preview: Perry vs. Warner Robins

The Perry Panthers will square off against the Warner Robins Demons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Perry is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

While Perry's victory against Veterans wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers skirted past the Warhawks 3-2.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Warner Robins made sure to put some goals up on the board against Tift County on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-3 win over the Blue Devils.

Perry's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those six games. As for Warner Robins, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

Everything went Perry's way against Warner Robins in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Perry made off with a 4-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
