Softball Recap: Vidor Takes a Loss

Vidor suffered their closest loss since February 15th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Silsbee Tigers by a score of 9-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-7 back in March.

Vidor's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-13. As for Silsbee, their victory bumped their record up to 15-11.

Coming up, Vidor will head out on the road to face off against Bullard at 5:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Silsbee, they will square off against Deweyville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
