Basketball Game Preview: West Brook Bruins vs. Beaumont United Timberwolves

West Brook and Beaumont United are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The West Brook Bruins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Beaumont United Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

West Brook is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Barbers Hill just ended the team's ten-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Beaumont United entered their tilt with Nederland on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 45-38 victory over the Bulldogs.

West Brook's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 18-7. As for Beaumont United, they pushed their record up to 11-14 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Everything came up roses for West Brook against Beaumont United when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 62-31 victory. Will West Brook repeat their success, or does Beaumont United have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
