Soccer Game Preview: Sherman Oaks CES vs. Fulton

The Sherman Oaks CES Knights will face off against the Fulton Jaguars at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Last Thursday, Sherman Oaks CES didn't have quite enough to beat Northridge Academy and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Fulton entered their tilt with Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Vipers onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory.

Fulton hit Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brener Cucuj (2), Cesar Ledezma (2), and Kevin Najera.

This is the second loss in a row for Sherman Oaks CES and nudges their season record down to 4-3-3. As for Fulton, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Sherman Oaks CES took their win against Fulton in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sherman Oaks CES since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
