Basketball Recap: Taft Takes a Loss

If Taft was riding high fresh off their 59-34 takedown of Neah-Kah-Nie last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Taft Tigers took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oregon Episcopal Aardvarks on Saturday.

Taft's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Oregon Episcopal, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taft and Amity will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Oregon Episcopal will take on Riverdale in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oregon Episcopal knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Riverdale likes a good challenge.
