Volleyball Game Preview: Summit Christian Academy Falcons vs. Lewisburg Baptist Academy Lions

The Summit Christian Academy Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Lewisburg Baptist Academy Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Summit Christian Academy came up short against South Charleston on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-14.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lewisburg Baptist Academy duked it out with Pipestem Christian Academy on Tuesday. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Lions have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 18-25, 25-13.

Lewisburg Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Summit Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Summit Christian Academy took their victory against Lewisburg Baptist Academy when the teams last played last Monday by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
