Basketball Recap: Lamesa Tornadoes vs. Pecos Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garden City, Lamesa was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Pecos Eagles 61-28. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tornadoes also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Lamesa has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for Pecos, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
Lamesa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 41-24 victory against Monahans on the 7th. As for Pecos, they will host Jal at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
