Softball Game Preview: Jamestown Muskies vs. Fort LeBoeuf Bison

The Jamestown Muskies will take on the Fort LeBoeuf Bison at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Jamestown can't be to happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Wednesday. They lost 10-3 to Wilmington. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Gianna Solderich made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Scriven, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Fort LeBoeuf put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand West Middlesex a 5-0 shutout.

West Middlesex's batters probably weren't too happy with Kiernan Skelton, who pitched a no hitter and racked up seven Ks (she gave up two walks).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ibree Rodgers, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Kallie Stull was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
