Basketball Recap: Lathrop Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Buchanan, Lathrop was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 50-42 victory over the Trenton Bulldogs. This was payback for the Mules, who suffered a 56-44 loss the last time these two teams met.

Lathrop is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Trenton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Lathrop wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 40-38 defeat against Penney on the 31st. As for Trenton, they will take on Lathrop at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
