Notre Dame Prep entered their tilt with Sunrise Mountain on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 53-43 win over the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Saints' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Mustangs are ranked seventh).

Notre Dame Prep is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.4 points per game. As for Sunrise Mountain, they moved to 14-2 with that defeat, which also ended their 14-game winning streak.

Notre Dame Prep will be playing at home against Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chaparral is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season. As for Sunrise Mountain, they will head out to face off against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sunrise Mountain is facing Centennial at the right time seeing as Centennial is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
