Baseball Recap: Warner Takes a Loss

Warner lost to Calipatria on April 14th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Hornets, falling 12-6. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Warner's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Calipatria, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-8 record.

Coming up, Warner will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Borrego Springs at 3:00 p.m. As for Calipatria, they are taking a road trip to challenge Julian at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.73 runs per game on average), something the Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
