Basketball Recap: Southold Comes Up Short

Southold lost against Bridgehampton back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Southold Settlers lost 71-48 to the Bridgehampton Killer Bees. The Settlers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-17.

Bridgehampton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Harding out in front who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Jai Feaster, who earned 14 points.

Southold's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bridgehampton, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Southold will head out to square off against Shelter Island at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bridgehampton, they will challenge Varsity Opponent at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
