Rock Canyon faced Legend in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Jaguars fell 3-1 to the Titans. The Jaguars' defeat signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

While Rock Canyon had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 13-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Rock Canyon's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 15-2. As for Legend, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Rock Canyon and Legend will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Jaguars see the court they'll take on Chaparral at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Legend, their break will end when they face Ponderosa at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
