Poway and Bonita Vista are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Titans are taking a road trip to take on the Barons at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Bonita Vista took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Poway, who comes in off a win.

Poway was handed a six-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Vista Grande, sneaking past 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Titans have posted since May 28, 2024.

Jacob Wilson looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Parker Smith was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Trenton Uyeda also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Bonita Vista suffered their biggest loss since May 9, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 10-3 to Helix.

Bonita Vista saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was KENSEN JOHNSON, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Bonita Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Poway, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Poway came out on top in a nail-biter against Bonita Vista in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, sneaking past 4-2. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Barons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
