Softball Recap: Sanford-Fritch Takes a Loss

Sanford-Fritch fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against West Texas on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Comanches by a score of 8-7. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comanches apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Sanford-Fritch's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for West Texas, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Sanford-Fritch has already played their next game (against Booker), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Texas also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Follett.
