Football Game Preview: Fremont Silverwolves vs. Alta Hawks + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Manase Tuatagaloa and Tucker Brown are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Fremont Silverwolves will square off against the Alta Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Alta will be up against a hot Fremont squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Silverwolves' way against Roy two weeks ago as they made off with a 41-21 win. The Silverwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Slade Parker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 62 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 52 yards and one TD. Those three receiving touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another pass catcher making a difference was Salesi Moa, who picked up 115 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Alta walked away with it. They blew past the Royals 49-7 on Friday. The Hawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Fremont better keep an eye on Ber Strong. He was instrumental in Alta's win, picking up 126 receiving yards and one TD.

Alta's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB 6.5 times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Mason Clark, Porter Maughan, and Liam Rowley, who each picked up 1.5 sacks apiece. Bear Turner was another major factor on D, forcing one fumble and making 15 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Fremont's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Alta, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
