Basketball Recap: British International School of Chicago vs. Alcott Wildcats

On Wednesday, British International School of Chicago was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to the Wildcats. British International School of Chicago has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

British International School of Chicago's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sebastion Mack, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Mack hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was Ben Sheward, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.

British International School of Chicago has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Alcott, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.

British International School of Chicago will be playing at home against the at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lycee Francais de Chicago is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Alcott, they will head out on the road to square off against the Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Julian will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
