Brother Rice won the last time they faced St. Laurence and things went their way on Friday too. The Crusaders blew past the Vikings, posting a 48-6 win. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

Jaylin Green produced another solid effort rushing for 98 yards and four TDs on only 11 carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August. Brother Rice also got a significant boost from Jameson Davis, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 99 yards.

Brother Rice's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.8 points on average over those games. As for St. Laurence, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brother Rice will host Saint Ignatius College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Laurence, they will welcome Montini Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Broncos have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games.
