Soccer Recap: Rocktown Wins Going Away Against Broadway

After failing to score in their last match, Rocktown made sure to put some goals up on the board against Broadway on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Gobblers. With Rocktown ahead 6-1 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting Broadway from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. William Diaz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Rocktown now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Broadway, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Rocktown will face off against rival East Rockingham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Broadway is set to challenge their familiar foe Harrisonburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
