St. Francis DeSales had won three straight home games and Gabby Winkler did her part to make it four on Monday. The Stallions put the hurt on the Granville Blue Aces with a sharp 3-0 victory for which the team can thank Winkler, who had eight digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

While St. Francis DeSales might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Granville scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-22.

St. Francis DeSales' win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Granville, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.

St. Francis DeSales has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Bloom-Carroll on the 25th. Granville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
