Soccer Game Preview: White Oak vs. Richlands

White Oak is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against West Carteret on Friday. White Oak fell 2-0 to West Carteret. The loss continues a trend for White Oak in their meetings with West Carteret: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Richlands kept a clean sheet against Southwest Onslow on Monday. They blew past the Stallions 3-0. Richlands might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

Richlands now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for White Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-3.

White Oak suffered a grim 9-1 defeat to Richlands when the teams last played back in April of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point White Oak was down 5-1.
