Volleyball Recap: BASIS Flagstaff's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

BASIS Flagstaff suffered their biggest loss since October 30, 2024 on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Williams Vikings. The loss was the Yetis' first of the season.

While BASIS Flagstaff had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-18.

Audrina Baldwin had an outrageously good game for Williams as she had 25 digs and three aces. Those 25 digs gave Baldwin a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, BASIS Flagstaff fell to 7-1. As for Williams, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

BASIS Flagstaff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Seligman on the 23rd. As for Williams, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Red Rock on the 24th.
