Softball Recap: South East Jaguars vs. Bell Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marquez, South East was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Bell Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Iliana Dominguez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits. Those hits were her first of the season. She was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ruby Gonzalez, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Ramirez, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double.
