On Saturday, National Trail had to suffer through a rough 47-14 loss at the hands of the Knights. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points National Trail has scored all season.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 66-26, which was the final score in East Dayton Christian's tilt against the Spartans on Friday. East Dayton Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-8.
National Trail's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-13. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.3 points per game. As for East Dayton Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
