Softball Game Preview: Catholic Central Irish vs. Covington Buccs

The Catholic Central Irish will face off against the Covington Buccs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Catholic Central comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Friday just wasn't the day for Catholic Central's offense. They came up short against Northeastern on Friday, falling 17-0.

Covington couldn't beat Riverside on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Buccs fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 5-4.

Taylor Foutz was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Emma Ouellette was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Covington's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Catholic Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.
