East Chapel Hill will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Hillside, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. East Chapel Hill took down Hillside 42-26 on Friday. That 16 point margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

East Chapel Hill found their leader in sophomore Alana Burroughs, who posted 12 points along with six steals and five boards. Burroughs is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sara Harline, who had five points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Chapel Hill entered their tilt with Wake Forest on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They really took it to the Cougars for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-19 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.
East Chapel Hill better focus on containing Rihanna Gregory and Scarlett Gilner as the pair were huge in Chapel Hill's win. Gregory put up 12 points and three steals, while Gilner earned ten points in addition to six boards and five assists. Dezariyah Clark was another key player, putting up seven points and six steals.
Chapel Hill smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 46 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Chapel Hill is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.1 points per game. As for East Chapel Hill, their win bumped their record up to 3-12.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: East Chapel Hill has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 28.7 boards per game. However, it's not like Chapel Hill struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
