Soccer Game Preview: Frisco vs. Heritage

The Frisco Raccoons will head out on the road to square off against the Heritage Coyotes at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Friday, Frisco came up short against Centennial and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, the Raccoons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while the Titans are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, Heritage kept a clean sheet against Liberty on Friday. They skirted past the Redhawks 1-0. The win continues a trend for the Coyotes in their matchups with the Redhawks: they've now won six in a row.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Frisco, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Frisco came up short against Heritage when the teams last played back in February, falling 3-1. Can Frisco avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
