Volleyball Recap: Silver Lake Regional Comes Up Short

The Silver Lake Regional Lakers came up short against the Durfee Hilltoppers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20, 25-18.

Miguel Reis paced Silver Lake Regional's offense, picking up six kills. Reis got some help from Miguel Gomes and his three assists. Zachary Corr controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Silver Lake Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Durfee, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Silver Lake Regional will host New Bedford at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Durfee, they will head out to face off against Hopkinton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hilltoppers are facing the Hillers at the right time seeing as the Hillers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
