Soccer Recap: Timberland's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Timberland lost against Academic Magnet back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Timberland Wolves lost 8-0 to the Academic Magnet Raptors. While losing is never fun, Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Raptors are ranked third).

Timberland moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Academic Magnet, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Timberland has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Manning on the 14th. As for Academic Magnet, they will take on Philip Simmons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Philip Simmons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.
