Baseball Recap: Everman Comes Up Short

If Everman was feeling good fresh off their 10-2 takedown of Seguin last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Everman took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mansfield Timberview Wolves on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost four in a row.

Everman's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Mansfield Timberview, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 8-9-1.

While Everman had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
