After losing to Golden the last time they met, Columbine decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rebels came out on top against the Demons by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rebels.

Columbine was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 21-25, 26-24, 25-21.

Sofia Screaton paced Columbine's offense, picking up 13 kills. Screaton got some help from Maddie Lynett and her 21 assists. Screaton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Columbine's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Golden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Columbine has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Arvada West on the 7th. As for Golden, they will head out to challenge Valor Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
