Columbine lost to Golden back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Rebels came out on top against the Demons by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rebels.

Columbine walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 21-25, 26-24, 25-21.

Sofia Screaton paced Columbine's offense, picking up 13 kills. Screaton got some help from Maddie Lynett and her 21 assists. Screaton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Columbine's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Golden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Columbine is set to face off against their familiar foe Arvada West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Golden will challenge rival Valor Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
