Soccer Game Preview: Desert Ridge vs. Dobson

Desert Ridge hasn't had much luck against Dobson recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Desert Ridge Jaguars will head out to take on the Dobson Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Desert Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.

Desert Ridge gave up the first goal on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They won by a goal and slipped past Corona del Sol 2-1. While the Jaguars didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Talan McDowell and Baden Stapley scored both of Desert Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Dobson put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Saguaro onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly two goals.

Dobson's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Desert Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
