Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks with a sharp 65-43 win. The Stallions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Xavier DeLeeuw, who shot 44% from the field to rack up 18 points and seven assists. Ben McCrory also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Baylin Clodfelter, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 13 points and seven boards. Clodfelter is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 11 games he's played. Tanner Kellum was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association's record is now 6-4. As for Forsyth Home Educators, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-55 victory against Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy on the 15th. Forsyth Home Educators has also already played their next contest (against John Yowell Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
