Norwayne came tearing into Monday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the West Holmes Knights with a 43-37 victory. The 43-point effort marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Norwayne to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Maibach, who posted 15 points and seven steals. Maibach is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hannah Froelich, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.

Norwayne's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. As for West Holmes, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwayne will welcome Dalton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Norwayne is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season. As for West Holmes, they will host Loudonville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Loudonville will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something West Holmes surely won't give up without a fight.
