Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans, falling 46-24. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.

Cedar Vale/Dexter was led to victory by Eislee Boatman and Zoe Davidson. Boatman went 7-for-14 en route to 19 points, while Davidson went 7-for-11 on her way to 18 points and seven boards.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5.

Central has already played their next contest, a 46-24 defeat against Dexter on the 11th. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, they are taking a road trip to challenge Argonia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
