Softball Preview: La Pine Hawks vs. Sisters Outlaws
La Pine and Sisters are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The La Pine Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Sisters Outlaws at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
On Tuesday, La Pine narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Sisters 12-10. The victory made it back-to-back wins for La Pine.
Lindsey Moulder made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and six unearned) runs off five hits. Moulder was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Layla White was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. Kylee Parks was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
La Pine now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Sisters, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
