Softball Recap: Bexley Comes Up Short

Bexley and Bishop Hartley squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Bexley had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 21-3. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Bexley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isla Haffner, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Bexley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Bishop Hartley, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5.

Bexley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Hartley, they will challenge Bishop Watterson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
