Volleyball Recap: New Lothrop Takes a Loss + How To Watch

New Lothrop suffered their biggest loss since October 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Byron Eagles. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

New Lothrop took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-23.

New Lothrop dropped their record down to 1-6-1 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Byron, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Lothrop will face off against Mt. Morris at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Byron, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Genesee Christian at 6:30 p.m.
